People don't like taking responsibility for their priorities
Responsibility is a concept that describes taking care of work and life's priorities. Yet, people procrastinate and hate taking care of their work. If this is true, then does responsibility even make sense?

Responsibility has been around since the beginning of time. However, the word was only defined in 1771.
The Argument
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, responsibility means moral, legal, or mental accountability.[1] People use it to describe having control over their priorities. A parent is responsible of a child, a student is responsible for their work, and a president is responsible for upholding the rules of the government.
However, responsibility doesn’t make sense because people don’t follow the rules or beliefs of proper responsibility. Students don’t like their homework, so they procrastinate and miss their deadline. Parents get tired of their children’s antics, so they let them run wild and cause havoc. Presidents try to propose laws that would benefit their agenda instead of the country’s.
If responsibility did make sense, people would follow it piously. Perhaps, responsibility isn’t even real. People don’t neglect the law or morality. If people can neglect responsibility, then it doesn’t matter.
Counter arguments
People don’t always hold true to the definition of words. Humans aren’t perfect. It’s a choice to be moral or not. Everyone isn’t going to follow the law even though they’ll get punished if caught.
Responsibility is the same way. Responsibility is a real concept that people don’t want to do all the time. If a parent is exhausted, they don’t feel like disciplining their children. As students get older, they are given more and more homework with less free time to themselves, so of course they wouldn’t want to do their homework. A president who loves power will try to further their agenda.
Responsibility isn’t fulfilled with perfection. Instead, it’s supposed to describe taking care of responsibilities. Someone could be responsible one day and not the other. Some tasks are easier to be responsible over than others.
