Context

The Argument

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to help during the pandemic, donating food or money is an excellent way to do it. A huge number of organisations are working tirelessly to ensure those affected by coronavirus and the corresponding self-isolation measures are looked after, whether they be those infected and their families, those who are vulnerable to infection, those who may be unable to go to grocery stores or pharmacies, or health workers. In the US, the following organisations are great options for food and money donation: - Feeding America - An organisation supporting food banks across America.[1] - Center for Disease Philanthropy - Supporting frontline medical workers and other vulnerable populations.[2] - Feed the Children - Works with food banks, shelters, and soup kitchens across the country.[3] - Meals on Wheels - Providing meals to vulnerable seniors.[4]
