Stephanie Schroeder joined the Penn State faculty in 2018 after earning her doctorate in Curriculum, Teaching, and Teacher Education at the University of Florida. Before pursuing a career in academia, Stephanie was a middle and high school English and social studies teacher in central Florida and New York City. Her research interests include democratic and citizenship education, pre-service teacher education, media depictions of teachers and teaching, and education activism across various contexts. - Penn State
