Animal testing is incredibly necessary to develop new drugs and treatments that won't kill people. Mice are pretty much just like little humans. If it wasn't necessary, then it wouldn't be standard practice. Other developed testing methods are not even 1% as effective yet, and taking away animal testing prematurely would be a massive detriment to society.

Yes, most drugs have a 5% effectiveness rate, such is the nature of drug testing. Makes you really think about what happens when any clinical trial is rushed through the gates because of wide spread panic...

Recreational Marijuana stocks are traded on every retail trading website and smartphone trading application, it is hypocritical that trading Big Weed's stocks is legal in all states but smoking weed gets you locked up in some states. All personal use of marijuana should be federally legal and sale should be legal but regulated by state authorities, QED.

Money has three functions and the US Dollar fails all three:

1. Unit of account. The lack of sensible units is highly problematic. Is the same stack of lumber for a two year project going to cost me a million or two million dollars? Or four million? How do I account for all of this inflation when the Fed makes up the rules as they go? Why do I have to be at the whim of an unelected body of people to the inflation rate of my currency?

2. Means of exchange - "so sorry, this is now a card only business because of the corona epidemic :)" Meanwhile, i can just pull out my crypto wallet linked Visa card and use it at any supermarket, any street vendor.

3. Store of value - something something fed something something look at M1 money stock.

As investments, the US Dollar has every hallmark of a bubble that will end badly, and its history and stability as an investible asset through bonds is waning quickly.

In our current world where major marijuana corporations with the majority of their sales as recreational use are stock-issuing businesses listed on NASDAQ, no one should ever be arrested for smoking weed. It should be federally legalized, and it should be illegal for businesses to drug test you for weed.

Kazuya being announced for Smash and Halo Infinite reveal was enough to get me excited. Honestly just happy for Halo Infinite. Trailer knocked it out of the park. But yea, overall Nintendo kinda dropped the ball with lame full price rereleases once again and the new Metroid being a 2D side scroller yawn-fest, and I had low hopes for anyone else after seeing their presentation, just watched the trailer for Halo Infinite again and logged off. Still tho, Free 2 play halo multiplayer... so many noobies to bully omg lol, I hope they bring back Forge Mode again and make it free 2 play as well, and maybe toss in personal public lobbies for custom games, that would be such a baller move.

While some people can go prison-gay, and some people definitely do get roped into being LGBT whether by peer-pressure, societal conditioning, and other environmental factors, not everyone does, and also some people genuinely are just "gay gay". I mean, why else are there historical records of lesbian/gay people in 1920's America? I will admit that the amount of "genuine LGBT" are definitely a lot lower than those who are just in it because it's trendy.

Ultimately, I believe that being genuinely romantically attracted to a person of a certain sex is the only factor in determining where you fall in the sexuality spectrum. Physical attraction can be highly fluid and manipulated, but the romantic qualities of men and women are set in stone.

It's objectively immoral, each act destroys the underlying fabric of society a little bit each time, destroys the sinner's psyche a little bit each time, and inherently should be avoided, but we all do immoral things, some with far greater costs to ourselves and society. Sin can be forgiven. Evil cannot. Sex outside of marriage can be called sinful, but it cannot be called evil.

Giving a dollar to a guy on the street puts a dollar in a man's pocket. Paying a dollar to taxes puts a dollar in "The Man's" pocket.

Who determines what is and isn't hate speech? Free speech means all speech is free, not just what some people deem to be "politically correct". People say tons of awful things, but ultimately its our choice whether or not we listen to them. Don't say "inciting panic or violence" either, that is incitement, not speech, and there are objective distinctions.

It's important to say what you feel is the truth at all times, or at least to not lie, because lying might not get you what you really need in your life. It will get you what you want, but you live your life as a slave to others. Speaking the truth is dangerous, and has always been dangerous, but the risk carried by lying is far greater.

What's good for the most successful corporations is the following: cheapest product in its classification sold for the highest amount. That, objectively, cannot the best thing for everyone.

Often don't? Yes. Can never? No. The difficulty depends on where they come from and how old they are when they first arrive, but even the most hopeless looking cases can thrive.

It really depends on two things: how solvable your troubles are and how serious they are. If they are truly unsolvable (not just in your mind, but objectively, as in you've looked for guidance and help for months on end, and you've genuinely given it your 100% daily for weeks upon weeks) or not that serious, you should just brush it off.

The most important problem that you can't brush off ever is not having any real friends. You must always have other human beings in your life who rely on you and you on them, otherwise you will have many, many small problems snowball very quickly.

In America, healthcare should be paid by the taxpayer (where are our taxes even going at this point??), BUT! before this can happen, people need to stop eating McDonalds and need to start hitting the gym, stop smoking, stop drinking so much, and maintain a well paying job on average. When the country subsidizes everyone's health, it is everyone's obligation to stay as healthy as possible.

What is a country? Is it the mass of land under the people's feet? Or is it the mass of people standing on the land? There is no such thing as a "country" without it's people, and I believe it's a moral obligation to find a prideful something in your motherland. After all, it's people created your grandparents, who created your parents, who created you in the end. Not physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and mentally created who you are.

If you can't find pride in your country, then you aren't looking hard enough. I'm proud to be born where I was, because I'm deeply grateful to be a servant and representative of my country's wonderful people.
